Charity

Musselburgh Windsor Community Football Club is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) (SC048570) and managed by a board of trustees who meet monthly and hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) at least every 18 months.

We operate in accordance with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) rules with board comprising of a Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary/Operations Manager, who are responsible for managing the organisation, its assets and operations.

As a SCIO we are able to enter into contracts, employ staff, incur debts, own property, sue and be sued and are also afforded a high degree of protection against liability.

However, there are important differences between a SCIO and any other type of body with charitable status in Scotland. To find out more, please visit the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) website.
