The John Murray Shield

Every year the Club awards its highest accolade, The John Murray Shield. Dedicated to the memory of former president John Murray who dedicated his life to Musselburgh Windsor and the wider youth football community.

The award is made to anyone (player, committee member, coach, supporter, sponsor, parent etc) who has made a major contribution to the Club, either through commitment, effort, support or application.

Nominations can be made at any time by sending the name of the nominee and supporting information about their contribution to the Club. A panel of judges will then discuss all nominations before agreeing who the worthy recipient should be.

The winner for 2025 is Johnny Brown.
