Dougie Hall Endeavour Award

The Dougie Hall Endeavour Award was introduced in 2017 and is presented to a deserving player from the boys oldest small-sided section (9 a-side).

Dougie Hall, is a former vice-chair, coach, kids school co-ordinator and coined the Club motto: Many teams, one club. He was made an Honorary Member of the Club at the 70th Anniversary Luncheon, and began his Windsor journey in 2000, coaching the 1993 age group. He went on to coach the 1995 and 2003 age groups.

Dougie was passionate about the younger age groups and tried to ensure they developed not only their football skills but also socially. He was tough on discipline and instilled respect amongst his players, qualities he hoped would see youngsters devolp in life as well as football.

After 17 years involvement, Dougie moved to England, but before leaving wanted to give something back and The Dougie Hall Endeavour Award was established.

The award is given to a player who demonstrates commitment and effort, working hard at both training and during matches. They are committed to learning, demonstrate impeccable behaviour and respect towards coaches, players and officials, and exhibiting Windsor values in everything they do.

The winner for Season 2025 is Dylan Legget (2012s) who despite difficult personal circumstances, has shown great commitment and given everything he has at both training and match days. He been a joy for coaches to work with.
