Kit Donations

The Club aims to help those who need it most and this includes donating kit to local community groups including schools. We have also recognised that we could can help the poorest communities in countries around world by donating our ‘old’ football kit and equipment.

In 2017 we launched our Kits for Africa an initiative were our ‘old’ kit was sent to the poorest communities in countries including Ghana, Senegal and Tanzania. We recently extended this initiative to include Albania where our kit has been handed to refugee children fleeing Afghanistan.

Our volunteers wash and pack kit before they are sent by courier to places it is needed most. There is no greater feeling to know that by doing our own little bit, we giving something back to those less fortunate and that children around the world are now wearing the blue of Musselburgh Windsor.

In 2022 we gathered as much kit as we could carry and travelled with Scottish Football for Rwanda to the central African country. Ian Gillon, John Hood, Scott Hutchison and Justin Hynd handed out kit and equipment as well as coaching local children over a 10 day period.

We will continue to collect, donate and send strips, training kit and equipment as and when we can and will publicise our next collection via our social media channels.
